Energy Bill Has To Pass Hurdles In House

Law360 (June 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- While the U.S. Senate can boast of its success in passing an energy bill late Thursday, significant work lies ahead for the U.S. House of Representatives to get its version of the bill pushed through.

Parts of the energy package have been passed or are in the process of being passed by House committees. The Committee on Rules will put all of the pieces together and reintroduce an energy bill, likely before the July 4 recess.
