Judge Accused Of Offering Decisions For Sexual Favors

Law360, New York (October 12, 2011, 4:05 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania judge was arrested and arraigned Wednesday on charges that he made improper sexual advances on two women who appeared before him in court, promising them favorable rulings in return.

According to a criminal docket in Allegheny County court, Judge Ross C. Cioppa, who hears cases from Pittsburgh suburbs, is charged with two criminal counts each of indecent assault, official oppression, and bribery in official and political matters.
