China's Largest Trade Group Blasts Senate's Yuan Bill

Law360, New York (October 13, 2011, 6:49 PM EDT) -- China’s top business association on Thursday joined the chorus of Chinese displeasure with the U.S. Senate’s passage of a bill aimed at punishing China for its suspected currency manipulation, reportedly saying the Senate action has led it to reconsider investing in America.

The China Chamber of International Commerce calls the legislation “unfair” and claims it “seriously violates the relevant World Trade Organization rules,” according to Xinhua, China’s state-run news agency.
