Enviros Sue To Block W.Va. Mountaintop Removal Permit

Law360, New York (October 13, 2011, 7:07 PM EDT) -- Three environmental groups on Wednesday asked a West Virginia federal judge to extend a temporary restraining order barring former Massey Energy Co. unit Highland Mining Co. from burying more than two miles of streams for its new surface coal mine, citing new evidence of negative health impacts.
