China To Kick Off Final Review Of Spandex Duties

Law360, San Diego (October 14, 2011, 5:34 PM EDT) -- China’s Ministry of Commerce said Thursday it would proceed with a final review of anti-dumping measures against spandex imports from Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and the U.S.

The agency noted anti-dumping duties would continue to be levied on spandex shipments during the investigation, which is expected to be completed before Oct. 13, 2012.

The ministry decided in 2006 to impose duties on spandex originating from the five countries for a five-year period, after finding that dumping of the products had occurred and caused material injury...
