EPA Calls Planned Farm Dust Rules A Myth

Law360, New York (October 17, 2011, 4:05 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency attempted once again Monday to put an end to the story that it is secretly planning to tighten regulations on farm dust, releasing a statement and a letter to Congress calling the idea a “common myth.”

The EPA has no plans to tighten the standards on coarse particles, which includes dust from farms and unpaved roads, it said Monday.
