Alt Fees On Rise, But Hourly Rate Still Rules: Report

Law360, New York (October 18, 2011, 5:36 PM EDT) -- More and more companies are embracing alternative fee arrangements as a way to cost-effectively bring in outside counsel, but most still use hourly billing to meet their litigation needs, according to a Fulbright & Jaworski LLP report released Tuesday.

“Corporate counsel want to keep costs low, but they also want to keep them predictable,” the firm said in a statement accompanying the report.
