Oracle Strikes Deal To Snag Endeca Technologies

Law360, New York (October 18, 2011, 3:23 PM EDT) -- Hardware and software giant Oracle Corp. on Tuesday announced it would pick up Endeca Technologies Inc., a Massachusetts-based provider of unstructured data management, e-commerce and business intelligence solutions.

The deal is designed to enhance Redwood Shores, Calif.-based Oracle's ability to provide top technology and applications for unstructured data management and Web commerce, the company said in a statement.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, and a spokeswoman for Oracle did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday.
