Ex-Brooke CEO Suit Stays In Bankruptcy Court For Now

Law360, New York (October 20, 2011, 7:30 PM EDT) -- A Kansas federal judge ruled Wednesday that the former CEO of Brooke Capital Corp. will not get a jury trial — at least not yet — over claims that he was responsible for an accounting misstatement that led to $450 million in claims against the bankrupt insurance agency.
