Judge Lets Lawyer Trademarking Case Proceed

Law360, New York (June 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has decided that Kelly Tillery, a lawyer who sued his old firm to enforce trademark rights on his own name, has enough of a case to go to trial.

Tillery left Leonard Tillery & Sciolla LLP in 2005, upon which the firm changed its name to Leonard Sciolla Hutchison Leonard & Tinari LLP. Tillery sued Leonard & Sciolla later that year over its internet domain name.
