UK Approves Merger Of Frozen Meal Giants

Law360, New York (October 25, 2011, 6:25 PM EDT) -- The U.K.'s competition investigator on Tuesday cleared the January merger of Kerry Foods Ltd. and Headland Foods Ltd. after determining that price increases after the acquisition were not a long-term problem and that the deal won't hinder competition in the frozen meals market.
