Court Stays Plastic Additives Action

Law360, New York (June 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania court has put a class action suit against a group of plastic additive manufacturers on hold while the defendants, who are accused of conspiring to fix prices, wait for a higher court to decide their appeal of the plaintiffs' class certification.

Both parties had agreed that the case called for some kind of stay. “[T]he only area of disagreement between the parties is as to the length and structure of the stay,” wrote Judge LeGrome Davis of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
