Arbitrator, Counselor Named In Wilmington Diocese Ch. 11

Law360, New York (October 28, 2011, 6:38 PM EDT) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Friday agreed to appoint a special arbitrator and a child protection counselor in the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington Inc.'s bankruptcy case as part of the debtor's confirmed reorganization plan.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Christopher S. Sontchi appointed Adam L. Balick as special arbitrator and approved the reorganized debtor's retention of Sandy K. Wurtele to serve as the child protection consultant, with the diocese funding all associated costs and expenses.
