Hitachi Loses Bid To Revive TV Tariff Suit In Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (October 31, 2011, 4:21 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of International Trade was right when it dismissed a case in which Hitachi Home Electronics Inc. sought to get back tariffs on plasma flat-panel TVs that it claimed should have been duty free, a divided Federal Circuit panel ruled Monday.
