TransCanada Says Pipeline Law Would Be 'Unconstitutional'

Law360, New York (October 31, 2011, 6:21 PM EDT) -- TransCanada Corp. publicly excoriated the Nebraska Legislature on Monday, saying that any state legislation aimed at moving the company's proposed $7 billion oil sands pipeline would be unconstitutional.

The legislature is convening in a special session beginning Tuesday in a last-ditch attempt to reroute the Keystone XL pipeline away from the state's major water source.
