University, Biotechs Squabble Over Genetic Testing

Law360 (June 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Salt Lake City-based Idaho Technology Inc. sued rival biotech company Corbett Life Science Inc. on Wednesday, seeking to enforce its patent on a technique used in analyzing DNA.

The company has also sent Corbett a term sheet for a licensing agreement, according to Jill Powlick, Idaho Technology's in-house legal counsel.

“We're still hoping to license to Corbett,” she said.
