Hogan Lovells Guides Glucose Tester In $54M Fundraising

Law360, New York (November 1, 2011, 4:39 PM EDT) -- Sensors for Medicine and Science Inc.’s latest funding push attracted $54 million from Delphi Ventures and other venture capital firms keen to bring its implantable glucose monitoring system to market, the medical device company announced Tuesday.

Delphi, a newcomer to SMSI, led the way in the Series D equity financing, while existing investors New Enterprise Associates, HealthCare Ventures, Anthem Capital and Greenspring Associates also contributed capital for the development effort.
