Enviros Appeal EPA's Carbon Monoxide Ruling To DC Circ.

Law360, New York (November 2, 2011, 6:36 PM EDT) -- Two environmental groups asked the D.C. Circuit on Monday to review the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's decision to maintain current carbon monoxide regulations, saying the agency failed to adequately protect Americans from the harmful gas.

WildEarth Guardians and Communities for a Better Environment argue that the EPA has ignored mounting scientific evidence that stronger ambient air quality standards for carbon monoxide are needed to protect human health, challenging the agency's Aug. 31 decision to leave its standards unchanged.
