Ill. AG Wants More Scrutiny Of Exelon Energy Merger

Law360, New York (November 2, 2011, 2:21 PM EDT) -- A settlement reached by Exelon Corp. and Constellation Energy Group Inc. with an independent market monitor fails to adequately address competition concerns raised by their proposed $7.9 billion merger, the Illinois attorney general told the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Tuesday.
