Judge Quells Unsecured Creditors' Fight With Dura

Law360, New York (June 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A bankruptcy judge has refused to force Dura Automotive Systems to file some of its business plan publicly even though the company's unsecured creditors allege the information may have already been leaked and may have caused a spike in trading.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Carey ruled Thursday that if the information was handled wrongly it was not the fault of Dura—a point the unsecured creditors made themselves in a court filing. Judge Carey said the information can be filed under seal.
