Qualcomm Rejects Licensing Deal With Broadcom

Law360, New York (June 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Qualcomm, Inc. has rejected a proposal by its rival phone company Broadcom Inc. to settle a long-running patent dispute by letting Qualcomm pay a six dollar licensing fee on phones that the U.S. International Trade Commission has already found to infringe Broadcom's patents.
