Air Charter Ex-Exec Cops To Kickback Scheme

Law360, New York (November 4, 2011, 7:19 PM EDT) -- A former Ryan International Airlines Inc. executive on Friday pled guilty to charges over his role in a scheme through which he allegedly received more than $520,000 in kickbacks for awarding airline services and fuel contracts.

Wayne E. Kepple, the latest to plead guilty to charges over the alleged scheme, was the former vice president of ground operations for the Rockford, Ill.-based charter carrier, and participated in more than three separate outside schemes to defraud his company, the U.S. Department of Justice said.
