ITC To Review Duties On Bearings, Paper, Steel Component

Law360, San Diego (November 4, 2011, 7:08 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission voted Friday for full reviews of duties placed on silicomanganese, lined-paper school supplies and tapered roller bearings from China and other countries.

The commission said it would conduct one five-year sunset review to determine whether lifting anti-dumping duty orders on silicomanganese — used as a deoxidizer and an alloying element in steel — from China, Brazil and the Ukraine would likely harm the U.S. industry.
