Legal Sector Added 400 Jobs In Oct.: Report

Law360, New York (November 7, 2011, 4:09 PM EST) -- Four hundred jobs were added to the U.S. legal industry in October, a slight increase in a sector that shed 1,200 jobs in September, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday.

Despite the growth, the total number of jobs in legal services has dipped by 3,000, or roughly 0.3 percent, from October 2010, according to seasonally adjusted figures by the BLS.
