Judge Sides With UPS In Disability Bias Suit

Law360 (July 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a win for the United Parcel Service Inc., a judge has come down against a partially blind UPS clerk who alleged the delivery company discriminated against him because of his disability.

Judge Aleta A. Trauger of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee granted UPS’ summary judgment motion and tossed a clerk’s claims, finding that he failed to demonstrate that he qualified as a disabled person.
