Still Looking To Liquidate, Collins Churns Out Parts

Law360, New York (July 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Collins & Aikman Corp. has received bankruptcy court approval to continue supplying parts to DaimlerChrysler Corp. and General Motors Corp. despite plans to liquidate, made shortly after the company entered Chapter 11 over a year and a half ago.

The auto parts maker has asked Judge Steven Rhodes of the eastern Michigan bankruptcy court to endorse the agreement, made in December, to let it produce crucial parts into July.
