Bankrupt SSI Could Sell Souper Salad For $1.6M

Law360, New York (November 9, 2011, 5:23 PM EST) -- Bankrupt SSI Group Holding Corp., the owner of Grandy’s and Souper Salad restaurants, spelled out the potential sale of its Souper Salad assets to a stalking horse bidder for at least $1.6 million in a court filing Tuesday in Delaware.

That purchase price between SSI, which already has a stalking horse bidder lined up for its Grandy's restaurants, and Texas-based JLMF LLC could increase if JLMF opts to assume less than 43 real property leases associated with the Souper Salad business, according to the asset purchase...
