Convicted A&O Fraudster Told To Repay Investors $102M

Law360, New York (November 10, 2011, 11:50 AM EST) -- A&O Resource Management Ltd. co-founder Christian M. Allmendinger, sentenced to 45 years in prison for his role in an insurance investment scheme, must repay the full $102 million lost by investors, a Virginia federal judge ordered Wednesday.

U.S. District Judge Robert E. Payne ordered Allmendinger be made liable for the full amount owed to investors minus any payments made by others convicted in the scheme who were also ordered to pay restitution to the same victims.
