Bard Ends Vessel Graft Patent Feud With Endologix

Law360, Los Angeles (November 15, 2011, 4:09 PM EST) -- An Arizona federal judge on Tuesday dismissed medical device manufacturer C. R. Bard Inc.’s lawsuit accusing competitor Endologix Inc. of infringing a patent covering a type of prosthetic blood vessel graft, after the parties moved to dismiss the case pursuant to a settlement.

In response to a joint stipulation filed Aug. 10, U.S. District Judge David G. Campbell ordered Bard’s complaint dismissed with prejudice, along with counterclaims for patent invalidity and noninfringement filed by Endologix in December.
