Wyeth Resolves False Ad Fight Against Sun In 6th Circ.

Law360, New York (November 15, 2011, 5:53 PM EST) -- Wyeth agreed Monday to end its appeal in the Sixth Circuit of the dismissal of its suit that accused Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. of mislabeling a drug and falsely advertising it as a generic form of Wyeth's heartburrn drug Protonix.

Sun and Pfizer Inc. subsidiary Wyeth filed a joint stipulation of dismissal resolving the dispute, without disclosing the terms underlying that Sixth Circuit filing. Attorneys for both sides did not immediately respond to requests for comment Tuesday.
