BJ's, Newegg Fail To Disclose Energy Info: Complaint

Law360, New York (November 15, 2011, 7:02 PM EST) -- A consumer advocacy group has asked the Federal Trade Commission to take enforcement action against Newegg Inc. and BJ's Wholesale Club Inc. for allegedly failing to post required energy efficiency information with their online listings for appliances, the group's lawyers announced Tuesday.

Law firm Earthjustice sent a letter to the FTC on Monday, on behalf of advocacy group Public Citizen, making a formal complaint against the online retailers.
