NutraSlim Makers' Assets Frozen In FTC Marketing Suit

Law360, New York (November 16, 2011, 6:34 PM EST) -- A Connecticut federal judge froze the assets of the makers of weight loss supplement NutraSlim on Monday, granting a request from the Federal Trade Commission and the state of Connecticut in a suit accusing the companies of deceptive marketing practices.

U.S. District Judge Robert N. Chatigny issued an ex parte temporary restraining order freezing the assets of LeanSpa LLC, NutraSlim LLC, NutraSlim U.K. Ltd. and principal Boris Mizhen.
