White House Touts $25B In Asia-Pacific Trade Deals

Law360, New York (November 17, 2011, 6:19 PM EST) -- The White House on Thursday highlighted cross-border deals between U.S. and Asia-Pacific companies totaling more than $25 billion, including a blockbuster aircraft order by Indonesia's Lion Air from Boeing Co., and a Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. helicopter sale to Brunei's defense ministry.

The transactions — announced as President Barack Obama arrived in Indonesia for trade talks with East Asian countries — will support about 127,000 jobs, the White House said.
