Hampshire Equity Sells Manufacturer To Rotork For $76M

Law360, New York (November 18, 2011, 7:02 PM EST) -- Rotork PLC bought a maker of pressure regulators used in motorized equipment from private equity firm Hampshire Equity Partners for $75.8 million to expand its product line, the valve maker said Friday.

U.K.-based Rotork bought Fairchild Industrial Products Co. from FIPC Acquisition LLC, which is controlled by a Hampshire Equity Partner fund, in a deal that will defer $7.7 million of the total payment into an escrow account for two years, according to the statement.
