Supreme Court Picks 2 Attys For Health Care Fight

Law360, New York (November 18, 2011, 8:12 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday named Farr & Taranto partner H. Bartow Farr III and Covington & Burling LLP partner Robert Long as attorneys that will argue before the court in its review of a federal requirement for individuals to buy health insurance.

The two Washington attorneys will represent positions that no party has claimed yet in the high court's review of the Eleventh Circuit's decision that declared the requirement, part of President Barack Obama's signature health care overhaul, unconstitutional.
