FedEx Will File Attorney Sanctions Under Seal

Law360, New York (July 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a boost to Federal Express Corp., a federal judge has given the stamp of approval to the delivery company’s bid to file under seal its motion for sanctions against a plaintiffs’ attorney who prevailed in three discrimination cases against FedEx.

U.S. District Judge Susan Illston on June 6 granted FedEx's motion for leave to file under seal its motion for sanctions against Waukeen Q. McCoy over his attorneys' fee requests. Accordingly, FedEx filed its motion for sanctions against McCoy under seal.
