Iran Plotters' Atty Seeks Court Delay For Hunting Trip

Law360, New York (November 21, 2011, 2:00 PM EST) -- The attorney for two men who pled guilty to participating in an unsuccessful scheme to export 22 U.S. fighter jet engines to Iran asked a Florida federal judge Friday to delay sentencing so he can go on a hunting trip with his son.

Defendants Amparo Echeverri Valdes and Carlos Alfredo Pantoja-Coral pled guilty in September and are scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 2.

Their attorney Howard J. Schumacher told U.S. District Judge Adalberto Jordan that he and his son had made plans to go deer hunting...
