Nanya Fires Back At Elpida With ITC Patent Suit

Law360, New York (November 22, 2011, 3:05 PM EST) -- Nanya Technology Corp. filed a patent suit against Elpida Memory Inc. at the U.S. International Trade Commission on Monday, accusing its rival of infringing four dynamic random access memory patents, days after Elpida lodged a similar ITC complaint against Nanya.

Taiwan-based Nanya accuses Japan-based Elpida and Kingston Technology Co. Inc. of Fountain Valley, Calif., of importing into the U.S. memory modules containing DRAM devices that infringe Nanya's patents in violation of Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930.
