Bosch's Wiper Blade Patent Claims Gain Traction In ITC

Law360, New York (November 22, 2011, 2:34 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission on Tuesday agreed to open an investigation into claims from Robert Bosch LLC that numerous companies, including RainEater LLC and Pylon Manufacturing Corp., infringe nine patents for windshield wiper blades.

Bosch filed a complaint with the ITC on Oct. 26, accusing over a dozen wiper blade manufacturers and retailers of violating Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 by importing beam-type wiper blades into the U.S. that infringe the patents-in-suit.
