Patient Asks Judge To Rethink Crestor Ruling

Law360, New York (July 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A plaintiff has asked a judge to reconsider his dismissal of a case alleging that AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP failed to warn doctors and patients about risks of renal failure and other alleged effects caused by its drug Crestor.

Judge Herman J. Weber of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio dismissed the case on June 25. But in a filing Thursday, Carolyn Reece asked for the judgment to be reconsidered.
