Alcatel, Allied Telesis Caught In Ethernet Patent Blitz

Law360, New York (November 30, 2011, 3:40 PM EST) -- Chalumeau Power Systems LLC continued its remote device power patent enforcement crusade Tuesday, accusing Alcatel-Lucent and Allied Telesis Inc. of infringing Chalumeau's patent by selling devices containing allegedly infringing Power over Ethernet, or PoE, technology.

Chalumeau said in two separate suits filed in Delaware federal court that Alcatel and Allied produce and sell Ethernet network power switches that use the infringing technology.
