Honda Widens Recall Over Potentially Lethal Air Bags

Law360, New York (December 2, 2011, 5:46 PM EST) -- Honda Motor Co. is recalling an additional 304,000 Honda and Acura vehicles worldwide amid concerns over potentially deadly air bags, the auto giant said Friday, the same day its U.S. unit announced a brake recall involving motorcycles.

Separately, Honda is inspecting an additional 613,000 Honda and Acura vehicles around the globe to locate 912 potentially defective air bag parts, Honda spokesman Chris Martin said Friday.
