Anti-Gay Marriage Clients Spur Foley's Drop In LGBT Index

Law360, New York (December 9, 2011, 7:45 PM EST) -- The Human Rights Campaign on Thursday docked Foley & Lardner LLP points on its 2012 Corporate Equality Index — which rates companies based on their policies toward lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees — thanks to the firm's representation of groups that oppose same-sex marriage.

Foley's score of 60 on a 100-point scale is one of the lowest scores earned by the 139 law firms rated, most of which are Am Law 200 firms. Of the law firms included in the report, 55 earned perfect scores,...
