NRC Head Tells Senate He Didn't Bully Colleagues

Law360, New York (December 15, 2011, 3:04 PM EST) -- The chair of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission faced a second day of grilling from members of Congress on Thursday, appearing before a U.S. Senate committee to deflect claims that he concealed information from fellow commissioners and intimidated staff.

NRC Chair Gregory Jaczko denied accusations that he routinely bullied and undermined his colleagues, telling the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee that he didn't believe the commission suffered from internal tension and hostility.
