Judge Kills Harrisburg's Bid To Appeal Ch. 9 Dismissal

Law360, New York (December 14, 2011, 6:23 PM EST) -- A bankruptcy judge on Tuesday nixed a bid by the Harrisburg, Pa., city council to appeal her dismissal last month of its Chapter 9 petition, which cleared the way for a state takeover of the financially troubled Pennsylvania capital.
