Microsoft's Cloud Service To Adopt EU Privacy Standard

Law360, New York (December 15, 2011, 12:57 PM EST) -- Microsoft Corp. said Wednesday that its Office 365 has become the first major cloud-based productivity service to agree to the European Union's model clauses, which establish stringent privacy and data protection standards for customer data stored outside Europe.
