UK Retailer Jacques Vert Takes $64M Sun Capital Bid

Law360, New York (December 19, 2011, 7:55 PM EST) -- U.K.-based women's clothier Jacques Vert PLC agreed to a takeover by U.S. private equity firm Sun Capital Partners Inc. for about £41.2 million ($63.8 million), the firms said Monday.

Minerva Bidco — created by Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sun Capital to make the bid — offered 21 pence per share for Jacques Vert, representing a 68 percent premium on the retailer's closing price Friday, the firms said in a statement.
