CFTC Finalizes 2 Reporting Rules For Swaps Market

Law360, New York (December 20, 2011, 6:21 PM EST) -- The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission unanimously approved two rules Tuesday aimed at increasing transparency in the over-the-counter derivatives market, establishing swap data record-keeping requirements for registered entities, and calling for real-time reporting of swap transaction and pricing data.
