1st Circ. Upholds RI Immunity In Enviro Cops’ FLSA Suit

Law360, New York (December 20, 2011, 7:37 PM EST) -- The First Circuit on Tuesday shot down an attempt by a group of Rhode Island environmental police officers to revive their suit over over lunch breaks and holiday pay, rejecting their argument that the state had waived sovereign immunity by removing the suit to federal court.
