USTR's Notorious Markets List Balances Praise, Concern

Law360, New York (December 21, 2011, 1:44 PM EST) -- U.S. trade officials again called out a number of online and real-world markets in China and Russia known for dealing in counterfeit or pirated goods on Tuesday, but they also applauded efforts to stem intellectual property rights infringement in several key markets.

Just 10 months after the U.S. Trade Representative's Office issued its last Special 301 Report on notorious markets around the world, the agency put out a new list of more than 30 markets that exemplify enforcement issues.
